sorry for the inconvenience. We are working on an update for both the App and the Server. Currently both is in beta phase and the new server will only work with the beta App. The beta is open and you may give it a try.

sorry there is no manual yet. The biggest changes probably concerns the audio routing.
You can select a receiver/sender channel from within the VST similar to the previous version. In addition VSTs can now be selected from the inside the App. Instead of sending/receiving Audio to/from the provided 8 Channels, you can now target a receiver or sender (VST) directly.

i’m also on Catalina 10.15.7 and am merely trying to see if Studiomux can replace my iConnectMIDI2+ for getting iPad instruments’ audio into my DAW, so i’ve paid for it and now it appears i can’t download anything i’m supposed to (app & server). Can you please tell me if, when the updates are complete, i can get audio from my iPad to DAW using USB without any hardware? thanks.

Hi, to send Audio from you DAW to live just drop the studiomux effect VST/AU onto the desired Track at the end of the chain and select the studiomux channel you want to send Audio to (this while the iOS device is conneted via USB and the studiomux App is running).
Another way ist to select the plugin from inside the App from the Plugin Browser. You may identifiy the plugin by it’s name.

Hi,
there are 5 main tasks that are currently still in the works:
- audio device on mac
- state saving on windows
- latency issues on some devices
- polishing & fixing minor issues in the app
- rewriting the manual
After these have been finalised we will release the App. Unfortunately we cannot release the app in it’s current state, cause the App is still running fine on devices with iOS < 14 and mac os < Catalina.
We plan to release studiomux on the 1st of August.
