Midi note length on Windows defaulting to 8bars.

Hi there,

I am having a strange issue where midi notes created in midi editor are defaulting to 8 bars and are not able to be edited in length.

This is specific to me Windows 10 PC, my Macbook connection is working fine.

I have setup all of the MIDI preferences based on the instructions.

Same here, Windows 10 Pc running Live 11, I’ve tried on iPad 6 and iPhone XR with same results.
In my case I can edit note length, but the minimum length is 8bars

Hi there,

I have the same problem.

Do you know how to fix it?

Best regards
Lutz

Same problem, win10 Ableton 11.1 and iPad 6.Gen. Any solutions?

same here. (Win11, Ableton11, running everything on Touchlaptop Dell xps 9710) Together with other problems, like that the audio sample waveform doesnt show at all, unless one runs the Server-EXE as admin (but THEN getting an unstable touchable app…), and generally +15% CPU usage added when using TouchablePro on the same PC as ableton… it caused me to just stop using touchable pro for now.

o.k., I found a solution: Editor-Operations-Quantization is 8 bars on default, but you can change it to 16th or whatever you want
