I figured while we wait for the Windows version to actually be available in the Windows Store (and I wait for my Acer T272HUL to get here), I would look into the setup of having touchable Pro running on the same Windows PC as Ableton Live. I can’t seem to find any setup guide for this configuration though. How does this work? I am assuming we don’t need any rtpMIDI or iTunes. Do we even need the server? Does it just show up in Live as a virtual MIDI port and we pick the script input from the list and go?
You’ll need exactly the same setup as the Server is still a separate application on the PC.
It would be impossible to make a Windows Store app that includes all the functionality needed by the Server.
So you may follow the setup-guide completely - just in the last steps you open the Windows App directly and connect with it
