Studio mux Fails to load on Windows

I’ve downloaded and installed studiomux_x64_313.exe but it fails to run. The log file has this in it:

2020-12-12 12:30:53 [11020] INFO LoadUsbLibraries
2020-12-12 12:30:53 [11020] ERROR Could not locate ‘Apple Mobile Device Support’ folder path in 32 Bit registry
2020-12-12 12:30:53 [11020] ERROR Could not locate ‘Apple Mobile Device Support’ folder path in registry: ABORTING

Solved by reinstalling the AppleMobileDeviceSupport driver on windows.

That doesn’t work if you have a recent version of iTunes installed, Downgrading iTunes is not a tenable solution and also means you do not have latest security fixes installed.
