I recently purchased touchable pro for ipad and installed the usb and server. Touchable is listed as a midi device but not as a control surface.

sorry for the inconvenience. Have you restarted Live after installing the scripts?
the scripts are installed to this location, please check, if they are available:
*\ProgramData\Ableton\Live x.x\Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts*
If they are not available, please try to copy them manually, you will find a folder named touchAblePro inside the servers install directory. copy it to the directory mentioned above and rename it to touchAble. Then restart Live.
If the script is still not available, please send us Live a log file. You will find it here:
\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\Ableton\Live x.x.x\Preferences\Log.txt
