Two iPads connected to same machine

Mac OS Mojave and Logic Pro

I have two iPads both running studiomux and Lemur.

The problem I am having is that there does not seem to be a way to rename/identify which is which.

So when I program key commands into Logic using Lemur on the iPad 1 it records the input as coming from the midi input called studiomux. But then when I restart in the morning it only accepts inputs from Ipad 2 which has the same midi input name in mac os…studiomux.

Is there a way to change the name so Logic can differentiate between the midi inputs coming from Lemur?

Hi,

sorry for the inconvenience. Within the next update, the studiomux port will be renamed to “studiomux_<device_name>”

Any chance we could also get the studiomux server to run at startup?

Go to System Preferences–>Users & Groups… click on your Profile, then select Login Items and click the + button to add Studiomux.app.
